CashBurners

Well folks, since my last post I’ve been rather busy writing copy for and optimising my new websites, designed to promote the wonderful products sold by Cashburners.com.

Unfortunately, the original site – topproducts – hit the rocks in a bad way when the hosting company suffered a complete server failure. Like a fool, I hadn’t backed up my site on my own PC, and did all the work on it online, so, it was all lost and I had to start again from scratch. Every cloud has a silver lining though; while that site was down I worked on another template and recorded my first sale with Cashburners on the new template.

Now I have three websites up selling CB products, all getting plenty of traffic and all converting thanks to the quality of my sales copy!

Pure Herbal Power

Sexy Herbal Supplements

Premature Ejaculation Cure

The sales are rolling in nicely now (once you know what you’re doing, CB’s products are actually quite easy to push and convert pretty well) leaving me free to move on to other projects.

Like a lot of people, I’ve learned about earning money online the hard way – by failing. By making slap-dash decisions, by being unable to cut through the bullshit that fill people’s squeeze pages (that’s what they’re for, after all) by putting up amateurish sites or taking free templates from affiliate marketing companies and not making them unique.

I suppose it’s one of the fun things about trying to earn online – the fact that you’re always learning, and that when you do try hard and put the things you learn in to practice, things really start to pay off, and then it becomes really satisfying and your earlier failures actually seem quite funny.

So, a new project for me was to write my first e-book.

I decided the book should be aimed at beginners who are likely to make the same mistakes I did, and to teach them how to avoid making them!

Using a CB template as an example, the book covers the importance of:

  • Research
  • Keyword analysis
  • Competitor analysis
  • Search engine optimisation
  • Link building and link value
  • Traffic generation
  • And, of course, Monetisation!

And because most beginners either don’t have any budget, or are unwilling to spend any money, the book tells people how to get started without paying a penny.

It would hardly be fair, or indeed sensible, to charge for a book about making money for free, so of course the e-book is available to download completely free of charge!

You can even redistribute it or give it away to build your own lists (but not modify it or sell it, unless you purchase resale rights from me at a suitable price).

So, download your free copy of a Step By Step Guide to Earning Online Without Spending Any Money (catchy title, eh?) by clicking the link below.

Enjoy.

Step By Step Guide to Earning Online Without Spending Any Money

Over the course of many months now I have been experimenting with all kinds different ways to make money online without spending a penny myself. Of course, if you abide by the age old dictum that ‘time is money’, then I’ve spent a damned fortune for really quite a modest return!

I’ve been through lots of affiliate schemes (and only really stuck with two of them), dodged scams a plenty and joined enough mailing lists to fill my inbox with enough spam to feed the army of the People’s Democratic Republic of Korea for a year.

I’ve set up quite a few websites in tight niches, but haven’t spent enough time promoting them and getting back links to them, so for the most part they only get traffic from facebook groups.

I suffered quite a major setback at the beginning of this week when Google took it upon themselves to disable my AdSense account after some arsehole clicked a load of my ads on unconnected sites (i.e. different themes and different niches)- an unforseen consequence of giving all my sites a few reciprocal links by linking them all together. I don’t know if he/she thought they were doing me a favour, but Google certainly thought so, and now I’m barred for life from the largest and far and away the best contextual advertising scheme in the world. Great.

Luckily there are many other similar services (I’m now using Adsbanger , and can recommend it to anyone having trouble getting an AdSense account, or who just wants to serve more ads on their sites. Adsbanger pay via PayPal and have a generous commission rate of 65% for publishers) but whilst these are fine for sites in larger niches, tight niches like my archery site and calligraphy site now have no relevant ads.

Right, I hear you asking, what’s all this crap got to do with the post title? Well, not a lot, just thought I’d fill you in and give you a little background.

A few weeks ago, whilst going through the mind-numbing task of submitting my sites to directories, I hit on the idea of having my own directory, noticing that so many of these directories are obviously run by the same people, and so many of them charge extortionate sums of money for featured links. Clearly, directories are big business. I even found some directories with a page rank of just 1 charging up to $19.99 a month for premium links. Amazingly, some people are prepared to pay this just to get a top spot in a directory and perhaps 2 or 3 deep links.

Of course, I’m a cheapskate and only use the free directories. I don’t mind filling my homepages with hundreds of reciprocal links (just take a look at the sidebar for proof of this). In fact, I should charge the directories – their links are mostly in a sidebar widget, meaning they display on every page. AMS now has over a thousand pages, giving each directory a shed load of links from my site. Any way, I digress.

So I searched the net for free link directory scripts, tried a couple of Wordpress plugins, but eventually settled on a stand-alone platform called Kemana, which takes some configuring but does, eventually, work. If you try the same idea and are using a free hosting service, you need to make sure your provider allows SQL and PHP to run out of safe mode – i.e. allows full access to your databases. I’m using an account with Freeime, who provide a pretty good service for a free hosting company.

My new directory is now up and running, and I’m charging just $1/month for sponsored links and $2/month for premium links, making it far and away the cheapest search engine friendly directory around. Standard links are free for life, and all links require a reciprocal link.

As a special bonus to my readers here (not to mention to thank you for reading this far to get to the point of the article) the first ten people from this site to register and post their links will receive a year’s premium listing for free. Just add the phrase ‘AMS blog offer’ to your site description, and I’ll edit it out from your listing and give you a year’s premium listing for free. See how kind I am?

Of course, the directory is brand new and has not even been indexed yet, but it won’t be long before I have lots of links to the site, boosting it’s page rank and giving your links more kudos. So register today and lock in your year’s free premium lsiting by visiting my SEO Directory now! Yes, you heard me, right now! What are you waiting for? :-)

This article explains how to build multiple back links through the use of RSS feeds

Before I get to the real juice of this technique, I’m going to explain to you why you need to use it. RSS feeds really is a great way to increase free traffic, if you just know how to do it.

Also check out RSS Tricks for total RSS automation.

An RSS feeds is a webpage that displays all of your blog posts on an aggregators webpage as one big list. Because you can subscribe to an RSS, this gives your RSS feed the chance to go viral.

Don’t forget that your RSS will contain all the links that your original blog contains. This makes it easy to duplicate every anchor text link you create, with zero extra effort.

Unfortunately RSS feeds does not carry the media side of your blog but this really is a small concern. Don’t forget that your RSS will have links back to your main blog so anyone needing to see your blog in full can do so.

People often look for RSS as a way of finding information they are interested in. The iphone even has option that let you subscribe to an RSS feeds and read it every morning, just like a morning RSS feeds, you are creating a whole copy of blog hosted on a separate IP address. Now you know this you will understand why I have over 100 aggregating services, carry an aggregate of my RSS syndication.

Learn more about RSS Trick’s for total RSS automation.

Many websites that are the look out for current information to be posted to their blog, choose to display an RSS. By doing this your RSS carries your links even further, and they get more content. Its a win/win situation, and as such one I like very much.

Now as I agreed I’ll now give you the really great professional trick that I use, to supper charge my article writing.

Go to your Ezinearticles account and find your author profile. On that page you will find it has an RSS feed, now take that feed and distribute it to all the major RSS agregators. If you submit this feed to 50 aggregator services, then you will automatically have 50 anchor text links, for every single article you write.

Not only does this great RSS syndication trick work with Ezinearticles, it also works with Goarticles and many more.

If you want to go really advanced then you can always display your RSS from your Ezine account on your blog, and then when that is syndicated it will carry extra backlinks to your article with it.
